Creamy Vanilla For Sweets And Soft Tints
FIMO 8020-105 vanilla is a creamy pale yellow in Staedtler's 57g standard block, an oven-bake clay that Staedtler now catalogue as FIMO soft.
Vanilla is the base for miniature desserts: ice cream scoops, custard tarts, shortbread and cream fillings. It also makes a gentle background colour for daisies, baby chicks and buttercups, and a small amount softens brighter yellows without turning them white.
You may know it as Fimo Effect pastel vanilla, the name on the wrapper it used to come in That earlier pack is in the photos. Staedtler's current listing for 8020-105 is FIMO soft vanilla, with the same barcode.
Staedtler describe FIMO soft as easy to open and infinitely versatile, for jewellery, accessories and home deco items. Each block snaps into 8 portions, and a kitchen oven set to 110°C hardens pieces in 30 minutes. Staedtler give Germany as the country of manufacture.
