Deep Teal That Folds Into Baskets And Trays
Lagoon is a deep teal shade of FIMO leather-effect, article 8010-369, sold as a 57 g standard block.
Staedtler's photos show lagoon folded into small open baskets holding rings and trinkets, which is a good guide to what the clay does well: once thin sheets are baked they can be bent and shaped, and the surface looks and feels similar to leather. Snap-fastened trays, plant-hanger tabs and tassel earrings are all within reach.
The block is soft and smooth, split into 8 portions, and can be combined with FIMO soft, FIMO effect and FIMO professional. A sheet of lagoon edged with ivory or ochre gives a two-tone look.
Its oven setting, printed on the pack, is 130°C held for 30 minutes.
