Mustard Tone With A Leather-Like Finish
Saffron yellow, article 8010-109, is the mustard-coloured member of Staedtler's FIMO leather-effect clay, supplied as a 57 g block.
Mustard reads as a fashion colour rather than a toy yellow, so it lands well on small catch-all baskets, hair clips, earring pairs and accents on a darker piece. Staedtler's basket photo pairs a mustard tray with a teal one, a useful colour cue.
After baking, thin sheets bend and can be stitched or braided, and the surface takes on a leather-like look and feel, per Staedtler. The block comes scored in 8 portions and mixes with the FIMO soft, effect and professional ranges.
