Triangular 0.5mm Pencil For Neat Notes
Staedtler triplus micro 774 25 is a 0.5mm mechanical pencil with a grey triangular barrel, sold here in a box of 10 for classrooms, offices and drawing desks.
Staedtler shape the barrel as a triangle for relaxed and easy writing, and a three-sided pencil is less likely to roll off a sloped desk. The 0.5mm line is the everyday width for notes, maths working, forms and fine sketch detail, and the point never needs sharpening.
The chrome-plated metal tip carries a lead sleeve that retracts, so the pencil can go in a pocket or pencil case without the point poking through. Staedtler also note that the sleeve slides back as you write for extra lead protection, and that lead wastage is minimal. At the top sits an extra long twist eraser, PVC and latex free per Staedtler; replacements are sold as 77 R56.
Staedtler's AU product page lists B leads for this pencil. For a different grade, refill with Mars micro carbon 250 leads in 0.5mm.
