Pencil, Liner And Eraser In One Starter Box
The Staedtler Design Journey 61 100 is a 12 piece sketching set: seven Mars Lumograph drawing pencils, three pigment liners, an eraser and a metal double-hole sharpener.
The pencils run from hard to very soft. Four standard Mars Lumograph pencils in 4H, 2H, H and HB handle construction lines and light tone, and three thicker Mars Lumograph jumbo pencils in 4B, 6B and 8B give the dark end. The three pigment liners, marked 0.3, 0.5 and 1.0, are for inking over a finished pencil sketch. A Staedtler rasoplast eraser and the double-hole sharpener, which takes both pencil sizes, complete the box.
Staedtler describe Mars Lumograph as a premium drawing pencil for expressive sketching and fine detail, with high break resistance and finely graded graphite. The pencils are printed Made in Germany.
It works as a first proper kit for a student or as a gift, and each part can be replaced later from the open stock Lumograph grades and liners.
