Isometric Axes On A Full A3 Sheet
Mars 567 31-60 from Staedtler: a 31 cm transparent blue square with 30, 60 and 90 degree corners, listed as a pack of ten for classes and studios.
The 31 cm length gives enough reach for the long receding edges of an isometric view on an A3 board, and for regular hexagons drawn by stepping the 60 degree side round a centre. Slide it along a T-square and every parallel stays true.
Staedtler give the Mars 567 an inking edge, so fineliners and technical pens can run along it, and a millimetre scale that starts flush with the end, handy for marking off lengths while you construct. The plastic is see-through so earlier lines remain in view. Staedtler list it as made in Germany, and the square carries that print beside STAEDTLER Mars 567 31-60.
Pair it with the 567 31-45 for a full board kit, or step up to the 36 cm 567 36-60 for A2.
More for the classroom in maths equipment, geometry kits and rulers and geometry.
