The Staedtler 512 001 is a double hole tub sharpener with a metal sharpener insert, supplied in a box of 10.
Staedtler's 512 tub sharpener has two holes: one for standard-sized graphite pencils up to 8.2mm, sharpening at 23 degrees for clear, accurate lines, and one for thick graphite and coloured pencils up to 10.2mm at 30 degrees for broad, soft lines. The 512 001 uses a metal sharpener insert in the Staedtler design, and the hinged cover keeps shavings inside the tub.
A lid with a safety lock stops the tub opening in a pencil case, so shavings stay out of bags. One sharpener handles both standard and jumbo pencils, which suits families and classrooms with mixed pencil sizes. This box holds 10 sharpeners for a class set or stationery store.
