Colourful Single-Hole Tub Sharpener For Everyday Pencils
This is a box of 10 Staedtler 511 006 single-hole tub sharpeners for standard pencils, mixed across four transparent colour combinations, each with a lidded tub that keeps the shavings in.
Staedtler size the 511 for standard blacklead pencils up to 8.2 mm across and give it a 23 degree sharpening angle for clear, accurate lines. Because the tub is see-through, you can tell at a glance when the shavings need tipping out.
The cover is hinged and carries a safety lock that Staedtler say prevents accidental opening, a useful detail when the sharpener rides loose in a pencil case or school bag. A small PRESS button on the side releases the lid when it is time to empty it.
Within the 511 family this is the bright one. Staedtler list it as a single product in four colour combinations, shown in their photos as red with yellow, blue with pink, green with blue and yellow with green, and the colours are mixed. Their range text also notes that the 511 006 is the one model without the metal sharpener insert; the 511 001 is the same tub with a metal insert.
