Staedtler 488 56-3 holds 30 ml of blue ink for recharging Lumocolor 356 and 356 B flipchart markers.
Blue is the colour many presenters reach for second, for sub-points, diagrams and the notes that sit under a black heading. When a blue 356 starts to streak, stand it nib down in this pot. The marker pulls up only as much ink as it can hold, so there is no flooding and nothing to measure.
Staedtler state the marker writes again a few minutes after it goes in, with a complete fill taking 3 to 4 hours, so a pot left on the shelf overnight suits a busy training room. Staedtler's catalogue allows up to 9 refills for each marker, subject to tip wear. The station itself is polypropylene and, per Staedtler, made in Germany.
