Staedtler 488 50-5 is a 30 ml green refill station for the Lumocolor permanent markers 350 (chisel) and 352 (bullet).
A dried-out marker usually ends up in the bin with most of its body still perfectly good. This pot gives a green Lumocolor permanent marker a second life instead: seat the uncapped marker nib-first in the pot and walk away. According to Staedtler it can write again within minutes, and it holds a full charge after 3 to 4 hours.
The station is built so it cannot overfill. The marker only draws up as much ink as it is able to hold, so there is no measuring, no dripping and no pouring. Staedtler quote a ceiling of 7 refills for each marker, with tip wear setting the practical limit.
