Red Ink Station For Lumocolor Permanent Markers
The Staedtler 488 50-2 refill pot holds 30 ml of red Lumocolor permanent ink to recharge red 350 chisel and 352 bullet markers.
Red markers tend to run dry first in workshops, warehouses and classrooms because they get used for warnings, corrections and urgent labels. Rather than opening a new box each time, stand the empty red marker tip first in this station and let it draw ink back up. Staedtler say it is ready to write minutes later and completely refilled after 3 to 4 hours.
There is nothing to squeeze or measure: the marker can only take its own maximum ink content, so Staedtler describe overfilling as impossible. Each red marker can be recharged up to 7 times, with the tip condition setting the real limit.
The station is a polypropylene pot made in Germany, according to Staedtler. It pairs with the 350-2 and 352-2 red markers we stock, and the same pot comes in black, blue and green.
