Lumocolor Permanent Blue Refill Station, 15 ml
Staedtler 487 17-3 refills blue Lumocolor permanent universal pens, the 313, 314, 317 and 318, from a 15 ml pot.
Blue permanent pens are often used for numbering samples, writing on plastic sleeves and marking film where the writing has to last. Staedtler say the Lumocolor permanent pens are smudge-proof and waterproof on almost all surfaces. Rather than replacing one that has started to skip, stand it in this pot.
Staedtler's catalogue files 487 17 under the permanent pen range, and the pot itself is labelled Lumocolor permanent. Owners of the water-soluble non-permanent Lumocolor pens need the 487 15 pot instead.
Seat the pen tip in the station and leave it. Staedtler say the pen is writing again a few minutes later and holds a full charge after 3 to 4 hours, with no risk of overfilling. Up to 10 refills per pen are possible, depending on the tip.
