Forty Violet Triangular Pens For A Colour Of Their Own
Staedtler 43235M-6KP is a cup of 40 ball 432 triangular ballpoint pens with medium tips, all in violet.
Violet earns its place because few other pens on a desk share it. Some teachers use it as a softer alternative to red for feedback, students use it to separate one subject from another in revision notes, and journal keepers reserve it for dates and headings. Staedtler's price list calls the colour violet and the catalogue table calls them purple pens, colour number 6 in both.
The three-sided barrel is described by Staedtler as ergonomic for relaxed and easy writing, with particularly smooth writing performance. The medium tip is 1.0mm, each pen has a cap and clip, and Staedtler's catalogue puts the ink down as indelible to ISO 12757-2.
