This listing supplies ten Staedtler 375-6 pigment calligraphy pens, colour number 6, printed violet on the barrel.
Purple has long been the colour of ceremony, and it gives calligraphy a formal but less severe look than black. Use it for initials on a menu or invitation, the drop capital that starts a quote, a monogram on a card, or the names on a family tree. Its depth also makes it a good partner for gold on celebration pieces.
The 375 chisel tip is approx. 2.0 mm wide per Staedtler. Hold the edge at a steady angle and the pen produces thick verticals and thin joins by itself, which is how italic and uncial hands get their contrast. Multi Ink is pigment based and, per Staedtler, lightfast, waterproof and permanent when dry, so a finished piece can be framed or washed over with watercolour.
