Staedtler 348-9 is the black Lumocolor permanent duo, a double ended marker with a fine tip at one end and a medium tip at the other, sold as a box of 10.
Two tips in one barrel means one pen for both the detail and the heading. The F end writes about 0.6 mm, small enough for cable flags, sample tubes, CD faces and file labels; the M end gives a heavier line for box ends and folder spines. Each end has its own cap.
Staedtler list the ink as smudge-proof and waterproof, colour-intensive and low odour, free of xylene and toluene, and quick enough to dry for left-handed writers.
