The Everyday Black For Smaller Boards
Staedtler Lumocolor whiteboard compact 341-9 is a box of 10 black dry-wipe markers, the shorter Lumocolor whiteboard pen for desk boards, planners and small meeting room boards.
Most of what goes on any board is written in black: agendas, sums, phone messages and lists. Ten black compact markers in one box keep a classroom, office or reception desk stocked so nobody writes with a fading pen.
Staedtler give the 341 a universal bullet tip that draws about 1 to 2 mm, wider when you lean it over and finer when it is upright. The ink is fast-drying and low odour, it is free of xylene and toluene, and it dry-wipes from whiteboards, glass and porcelain. Its polypropylene barrel and cap are built for a long working life, according to Staedtler.
With DRY SAFE ink the pen can sit uncapped for days without drying out, a common fate for markers left on the ledge overnight. Staedtler state the range is made in Germany. The black also comes as a cup of 32 for shared spaces.
