Dark Mauve triplus for Deep, Dusky Purple
Staedtler triplus fineliner 334-69 writes in dark mauve, and this listing gives you a box of ten.
Dark mauve is a deep, muted purple with a touch of red in it. Compared with violet 334-6 it is quieter and duskier, and it is much darker than mauve 334-260. It is a sophisticated choice for shading in colour drawings, plums and berries, evening skies, and handwriting that should look rich rather than bright.
Staedtler's triplus build applies: a three-sided PP barrel, a fine metal-clad point giving an approx. 0.3 mm line, and DRY SAFE ink with a water base that, by their account, comes out of most textiles. Germany is where Staedtler say it is made, and they rate it safe to carry on aircraft.
Staedtler do not publish their own photo of 334-69, so the pen photos on this page are earlier shots of the grey-barrel version.
