A Loud Orange-Red For Deadlines, Corrections And Bold Doodles
In a box of 10, the Staedtler triplus fineliner 334-201 writes in neon red, an intense orange-leaning red from the triplus neon colours.
Ordinary red is the colour of marking; neon red is the colour of urgency. Teachers and editors use it where a correction must not be missed, students circle exam dates with it, and planners use it for deadlines. In artwork it gives flames, warning signs and pop-art outlines real punch. On our photos the cap shows a warm red-orange rather than a deep cherry red.
Like every neon in the range, it needs its cap. Staedtler's DRY SAFE promise for the 334 covers the standard colours and expressly leaves out the neon ones, so close it after use.
The rest is classic triplus: three flat sides on a PP barrel, a superfine tip in a metal sleeve, a 0.3 mm line by Staedtler's approx. figure, and water-based ink that Staedtler say comes out of most fabrics in the wash. You will find neon red in the Staedtler Australia trade catalogue even though their Australian website no longer shows it. The 334 is made in Germany, according to Staedtler.
