Ten Double-Ended Pens, Twenty Colours
Staedtler 3280 C10 is a box of 10 double-ended fibre-tip pens in 20 assorted colours: each pen carries two different colours, one at each end.
Twenty colours in ten barrels is a tidy trick for a pencil case. It halves the number of pens to carry and hunt for, and a child sees more colour choice without a bulging wallet. Staedtler give one end a fine tip of about 1.0 mm and the other a broad tip of about 3.0 mm, so details and filled areas come from the same pen.
Staedtler describe a stable, pressure-resistant tip, locked so it cannot be pushed back into the barrel under heavy pressure, a ventilated cap and a PP barrel for long service life. The ink washes easily out of most textiles, per Staedtler.
The palette runs from yellow, orange and reds through pinks, blues, turquoise and greens to purples, brown and black.
