Six Fine Erasable Colours For Overlays And Plans
Staedtler 316 WP6 is a wallet of six Lumocolor non-permanent fine pens, approx. 0.6 mm, in orange, red, blue, green, brown and black.
Brown and orange join the four basic colours here, which helps on maps, site plans and layered overlays where a fifth or sixth category needs its own colour. The fine tip keeps lettering small enough for scale drawings, sleeves and laminated schedules.
Staedtler sell the 316 as a universal pen for almost every surface, including overhead film, with water-soluble ink that a damp cloth takes off film. They add that it is fast drying with high colour brilliancy and that black is lightfast. The barrel and cap are polypropylene, the pen will not leak in flight thanks to pressure equalisation, and the wallet stands up on the desk.
Of the six, four (black, blue, green, red) can be revived from a 487 15 pot; Staedtler make no orange or brown pot.
