Staedtler 313-9 is the black superfine Lumocolor permanent pen, approx. 0.4 mm wide, in a box of 10.
The S tip is the narrowest of the four Lumocolor permanent universal pen widths, and it exists for jobs where space is short: sample tubes and vial lids, microscope slide labels, small electronic parts, keys and key tags, seed packets, fine annotations on overhead film and handwriting on plastic sleeves. Fine print stays crisp instead of filling in.
Staedtler describe the ink as permanent and low odour, waterproof and smudge-proof on almost all surfaces, drying in seconds so left-handed writers do not smear it. The black is the lightfast and weatherproof colour of the range. Leave one open on the bench for days and, thanks to DRY SAFE ink, it still writes; heavy pressure cannot drive the locked tip back inside.
The barrel and cap are PP, the pen is airplane-safe, and Staedtler give Germany as the country of manufacture. When it runs dry, the 487 17 refill pot can bring it back.
