Four Core Colours In A Box That Stands Up
Staedtler 311 WP4 holds four Lumocolor superfine non-permanent pens, red, blue, green and black, in the hinged STAEDTLER box that props open as a pen stand on the desk.
Four colours cover most marking jobs: black for the main text, blue for a second voice, red for corrections and green for approvals. Each pen draws a superfine S line of approximately 0.4 mm, so you can write small on transparencies, label slides or annotate a printed plan in a sleeve.
In Staedtler's words it is a universal pen for almost all surfaces and is suitable for overhead projection. The water-soluble ink is quick to dry and is removed from film with a damp cloth. Black is the colour Staedtler list as lightfast. Barrels and caps are PP, tips are locked, and pressure equalisation keeps the pens from leaking when you fly.
Any colour can be refilled from Staedtler refill station 487 15, and single colours are sold in tens when one runs out first. Staedtler state the pens are made in Germany.
