Superfine Black For Small Labels And Detailed Overlays
Staedtler 311-9 is the black Lumocolor non-permanent universal pen with the S superfine tip, the finest width in the range, sold in Staedtler's box of 10.
At approx. 0.4 mm, the superfine tip handles writing that has to fit into small spaces: labels on sample containers and small plastic parts, fine detail traced onto film, grid references on map overlays and annotations between printed lines on a transparency.
Staedtler sell the 311 as a universal marker for almost any surface and for OHP transparencies. Its quick-drying ink dissolves in water, so wiping film with a wet cloth removes it. Black is the one Lumocolor non-permanent colour Staedtler describe as lightfast. The superfine nib is locked, the body is polypropylene and the pen will not leak when flown.
Refill it with the black 487 15-9 refill station; Staedtler say the pen draws only as much ink as it can hold, so it cannot be overfilled.
