Staedtler 308-9 TB12 is a pack of 12 black pigment liners, one in each line width from 0.05 mm to the 0.3-2.0 mm chisel.
Staedtler list the contents as 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 mm, with the 0.3-2.0 chisel as the twelfth pen. That covers hair-fine stippling, hatching, body text, outlines and bold contour or block lettering, so a single purchase answers the question of which width to buy. It suits an illustration or design student setting up, a drafting desk that needs every line weight on hand, or a gift for someone getting serious about ink drawing.
All twelve use the 308 black pigment ink, which Staedtler call indelible, lightfast and waterproof on paper, and which the catalogue lists as acid free. Highlighting does not make the lines bleed, the ink erases from drawing film, and Staedtler say black can sit uncapped for at least 12 hours. Long metal tips suit straight edges too: Staedtler pair rulers with widths of 0.2 mm and up, and templates with 0.1 mm and up.
