Violet Linework With Staedtler Pigment Ink
Staedtler 308 05-6 puts violet pigment ink behind an approx. 0.5 mm metal tip, and you get a box of 10 of them here.
Violet is the colour people reach for when black looks too heavy and blue too ordinary: shadow lines in floral and fantasy illustration, lavender and iris studies, headings in a planner, or a separate colour for a second marker of comments on a shared document. It is also the article number Staedtler use as their example when ordering pigment liner colours.
Staedtler describe the ink as indelible and lightfast, waterproof on paper, and their AU catalogue lists it as acid free. Highlighting over a violet line will not make it run. The long metal tip suits templates and rulers, and a PP barrel keeps the pen going for a long time. Pressure equalisation stops leaks on board aircraft, according to Staedtler. Put the cap back after use, as their cap-off figure covers black ink only.
