Black Fineliner For Learning To Write In Pen
Staedtler 307-9 is the black Noris writing pen, a fine 0.6 mm fineliner with a sturdy plastic tip, supplied here as a box of 10.
Staedtler made the Noris writing pen for children moving from pencil to pen. The plastic tip resists pressure, so a heavy-handed young writer does not flatten it, and it glides over paper to help keep handwriting even. Black gives the highest contrast on the page, which is why it is the usual first pen on school lists for written work and tests.
Staedtler's water-based ink comes out of most textiles in the wash without fuss, a relief for parents and school uniforms. It also carries their DRY SAFE rating: a pen that loses its cap can sit for days and still write. Staedtler describe the line as F, fine, at approx. 0.6 mm, and the barrel and cap are polypropylene for a long service life.
A box of 10 is a sensible spare supply for a family or a small group, and the bright yellow barrel with its black cap is easy to spot in a pencil case.
