A Whiteboard Marker Slimmed Down To Pen Size
The Staedtler Lumocolor whiteboard pen 301 WP6 puts six dry-wipe colours in a narrow pen format, writing a medium line of about 1 mm.
Full-size whiteboard markers are too heavy for a lap board, a fridge memo board or a crowded worksheet grid. The 301 is Staedtler's answer: the same dry-wipe Lumocolor ink in a slim barrel, with a line Staedtler grade M (medium), around 1 mm wide. Staedtler name smaller boards such as their Lumocolor memo board 641 and school writing boards as where it suits best.
This wallet holds orange, red, violet, blue, green and black. Left open on a desk, the pens are rated by Staedtler to keep writing for 8 hours before drying out (ISO 554 standard atmosphere), handy in a lesson where caps get mislaid. A dry tissue or eraser clears the marks from a whiteboard, and Staedtler add glass and porcelain to the list of suitable surfaces.
Staedtler lock the 301 tip in place so it stays put under pressure, and the clear wallet folds out into a little stand so the six colours wait upright by the board. According to Staedtler, the pens are made in Germany.
