Yellow Textsurfer Gel, A Dry Alternative To Liquid Highlighters
Staedtler 264-1 is a box of 10 yellow Textsurfer gel highlighters with twist-up translucent wax leads.
Yellow is the classic first colour for key points, and the gel version suits pages where wet ink causes trouble. Staedtler state the gel stays on the front of the page and rate it INK-JET SAFE, so it can go over inkjet text without smudging it. It suits textbooks, contracts printed in the office and exam notes alike.
The 9 mm lead winds up from the barrel as it is used, so there is nothing to sharpen, and it marks approx. 3 mm. Staedtler call it ultra soft highlighting and list it for paper, fax and carbon copies. Yellow sits alongside orange, green and pink in the 264 range.
