Thick 0.9 mm B Lead For Firm Pressure And Bold Notes
Staedtler Mars micro carbon 250 09-B: one tube of 12 leads, 0.9 mm wide, in the B grade.
At 0.9 mm the lead is noticeably thicker than the usual 0.5 mm, so it shrugs off heavy pressure and gives a broad, easy-to-read line. With a B grade the line is dark too, which suits large handwriting, quick sketches, carpentry and workshop marking on paper templates, and anyone who keeps breaking finer leads.
Staedtler describe Mars micro carbon as highly flexible and extremely break resistant, smooth and easy to erase on paper and drawing card, for use in all mechanical pencils of the matching size. The tube is colour coded for 0.9 mm under the ISO scheme.
Staedtler offer the 0.9 mm lead in B and HB only. Choose HB if you want a slightly lighter, cleaner line.
