HB In 0.7 mm For A Stronger Everyday Lead
Staedtler 250 07-HB is a tube of twelve Mars micro carbon leads, 0.7 mm thick and HB grade.
0.7 mm HB is a sensible default for people who find 0.5 mm leads snap too often. The thicker lead takes more pressure, the line is a little bolder, and HB keeps it clean and readable for notes, forms, site diaries and quick diagrams.
Staedtler say Mars micro carbon leads suit all mechanical pencils and describe them as highly flexible, extremely break resistant, smooth and easy to erase, for paper and drawing card. The tube is colour coded to the ISO standard for 0.7 mm so it is easy to tell from 0.5 mm stock.
Check the pencil first: a 0.7 mm lead will not go into a 0.5 mm pencil, and a 0.5 mm lead slips in a 0.7 mm one.
