Yellow Refill Leads For The Omnichrom 768 Holder
Staedtler 218-1 is a tray of 12 yellow Lumocolor non-permanent omnichrom leads, the refill for the 768 leadholder.
Each lead is 70 mm long and about 3 mm across, according to Staedtler, and they come in a clear tray of 12. They are water-soluble and made to mark opaquely on almost all surfaces, including dark or transparent ones, from paper and plastic to metal, glass, wood, leather and stone. Marks can be wiped off many smooth surfaces.
A tray is enough to keep several yellow holders going on a busy site or bench. Load a fresh lead into the 768N-1 yellow holder, or put yellow into another 768 holder if you want to switch colours without buying a new body.
Staedtler carry their Made in Germany and lightfast pictograms on the 218 page. The other refill colours are white 218-0, red 218-2 and black 218-9.
