A Dry Yellow Highlighter That Stays On The Surface Of Thin Paper
Staedtler Textsurfer dry 128 64-1 is a wood-cased highlighter pencil with a neon yellow wax lead, sold in a box of 12.
Liquid highlighters can soak through fine pages. The Textsurfer dry marks with wax instead, and Staedtler say it does not bleed even through thin paper such as law texts, newspapers and bible passages. The jumbo triangular barrel sits comfortably in the hand and the lead is about 4 mm across, so one stroke covers a normal line of print.
Staedtler class it as INKJET SAFE, meaning it will not smudge inkjet printouts, and list it for paper, fax and carbon copies. The lead is lightfast, so marked passages stay clearly legible for years. There is no cap to lose and no ink to dry out: sharpen it like a pencil. Staedtler recommend the Noris 512 128 or the metal 510 20 double-hole sharpener.
