Light Green Maxi Learner Pencils for Grass and New Leaves
Staedtler 126 12-50 is a pack of twelve light green Noris maxi learner coloured pencils, colour 50, a bright yellow-green in our photos.
The 126 range carries two greens, and they work as a pair. This lighter one is the lawn in sunshine, spring leaves, a lime, a frog or a caterpillar; the darker 126 12-5 green gives shade under a tree or the leaves at the back. Children who get both start layering light over dark without being told, which is an easy first lesson in depth.
Light green is also a strong sorting colour: it stands apart from yellow and from darker green, so it earns a place in colour matching trays and charts.
Staedtler Australia list 126 12-50 in their catalogue as a Noris maxi learner colour, supplied in twelves. Gold print on the barrel names the maker and the Noris Club maxi range, with the code 126 12, a CE mark and a MADE IN GERMANY line. Nothing is claimed about lead size or age, since Staedtler publish neither.
