The Sixty-Colour Karat Aquarell Studio Tin
Staedtler karat aquarell 125 M60 is the largest tin in the range, holding all 60 colours Staedtler list for the karat aquarell pencil.
Staedtler offer the karat aquarell single pencil in up to 60 colours, and this tin carries the lot. For a working artist that means pastel tints, deep shades and neutral greys sit next to the brights, so washes can be built from pencil colour rather than mixed on a palette.
The lead is the same throughout the range: soft, colour-intensive and water-soluble in Staedtler words, giving delicate to strikingly luminous results with water and a brush on watercolour paper and holding bright colour when used dry.
Two trays inside the metal tin keep the 60 pencils in their chart order. Every silver barrel carries a matching end cap and the print MADE IN GERMANY.
