Yellow and Black Triangular HB Pencils
Staedtler 118 HB-509 brings 12 Noris triangular school pencils in HB, the grade most schools ask for on stationery lists.
Staedtler Australia list the article as the Noris triangular school pencil. The ones in our photos carry the familiar yellow and black Noris stripes with a black end and are printed STAEDTLER Noris Club along the barrel.
The three-sided barrel is standard thickness, so it fits ordinary sharpeners and pencil case loops, and it stays where you put it on a slanted desk. HB gives a clean, mid-grey line that holds a point through a worksheet, which is why it is the usual pick for handwriting, maths and class tests.
For sketching or students who press lightly, the same range comes in 2B (118 2B-509). A tub sharpener such as the 512 128 keeps the shavings off the floor.
