Three Soft 6B Pencils On One Card
Staedtler 110-6B BK3 puts three tradition graphite pencils in grade 6B on a hanging blister card, a small top-up for anyone who sketches with very soft lead.
6B is the softest grade in the tradition 110 line, which runs from 6B up to 4H. A soft lead lays down a dark, heavy mark with very little pressure, which is what you want for deep shadows, strong outlines and fast gesture work.
Staedtler call the tradition unbelievably break-resistant and put that down to a special lead formulation and a lead that is super-bonded into the wood. Each pencil wears the red and black barrel with gold STAEDTLER tradition 6B lettering and a black end cap, and Staedtler state it is made in Germany.
Three on a card suit an art bag, a life drawing class or replacing the worn-down 6B from a mixed set. When you burn through soft pencils, the same grade also comes in a box of 12.
