A 9H Pencil For Exact, Whisper-Light Lines
Staedtler Mars Lumograph 100-9H is a box of 12 extremely hard pencils that leave a hairline grey mark for meticulous layout and measurement.
Only the 10H is harder in the Lumograph range. The 9H suits marking out on firm card and board, precise engineering layouts, faint perspective framework and lettering guides that need to be nearly invisible once the final work is down.
The lead is approximately 2.0 mm, Staedtler say, and the graphite is described as break resistant with uniform, repeatable strokes.
Staedtler state it is made in Germany. Use light pressure on a firm, smooth sheet, and keep the point long with the 510 10 metal sharpener for the finest line.
