The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Cold Grey 1 delivers a charcoal-like feel with highly pigmented colour and excellent light-fastness. The 4.4 mm diameter lead can be blended dry with fingertips or a blending stump, and is partially aquarellable - allowing pigments to be worked with a brush and water while contours remain visible.
This pencil performs on dark backgrounds and specialist papers, and can be used wet or dry for a wide range of artistic effects. Available as part of a 60-shade collection, it suits art students and practising artists seeking precise, blendable pastel results. Finished work can be treated with a fixative for superior longevity.
