The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Warm Grey 5 delivers a charcoal-like feel with highly pigmented colour and excellent light-fastness. The 4.4 mm diameter lead blends and smudges with fingertips or a blending stump, and is partially aquarellable - allowing pigments to be worked with a brush and water while contours remain visible.
Suitable for use wet or dry, this pencil performs beautifully on dark backgrounds and specialist papers. Available as part of a range of 60 colour shades, it suits art students and artists seeking precise pastel effects. Finished work can be treated with a fixative for superior results.
