The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Caput Mortuum Red delivers a charcoal-like feel with highly pigmented colour and excellent light-fastness. The 4.4 mm diameter lead blends and smudges easily with fingertips or a blending stump, and is partially aquarellable so pigments can be worked with a brush and water while contours remain visible.
Part of a range of 60 colour shades, these pencils perform on dark backgrounds and specialist papers for dramatic results. Use dry or wet, and finish with a fixative for superior longevity.
