An Orange Pencil That Marks Glass, Plastic And Metal
Stabilo 0080541 is a box of 12 orange Stabilo All pencils, printed 8054 on the barrel, for marking surfaces an ordinary pencil will skate across.
ACCO list the Stabilo All as writing on glass, plastic and metal as well as paper. That makes it handy for a workshop marking a cut line on a plastic sheet, a lab labelling a beaker for the day, a glazier noting a pane, or a teacher writing on a laminated chart.
The marks are not permanent. ACCO say they wipe off smooth surfaces with a damp cloth and erase from paper, so a label can be changed as often as the job does. The lead is 2.4mm across in a wooden barrel, made from pigment and graphite according to ACCO.
