The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Paynes Grey delivers a charcoal-like feel with highly pigmented colour and excellent light-fastness. The 4.4 mm diameter lead can be used wet or dry, blended with fingertips or a blending stump, and is partially aquarellable for watercolour-style effects.
Part of a range of 60 colour shades, this pencil performs on dark backgrounds and specialist papers. Apply a fixative to protect finished work, or use with brush and water to work the pigments while keeping contours visible.
