The Stabilo CarbOthello chalk-pastel coloured pencil in Carmine Red delivers highly pigmented colour with a charcoal-like feel. It can be blended or smudged with fingertips or a blending stump, used wet or dry, and produces dramatic results on dark backgrounds and specialist papers. The 4.4 mm diameter lead is partially aquarellable, allowing pigments to be worked with a brush and water while contours remain visible.
Available as part of a 60-shade collection, this pencil suits fine art, illustration, and mixed-media work. Finished pieces can be treated with a fixative for superior, lasting results. Excellent light-fastness ensures colours remain vivid over time.
