Silicone drive belt. 510mm circumference, 80mm outer diameter, 70mm inner diameter.
The drive belt is the part of a hand generator or a Van de Graaff that fails first, and when it goes the whole instrument is a paperweight until it is replaced. At $8.20 it is worth having a spare in the drawer before you need one.
What the supplier says it fits. SER1052222 Van de Graaff, as the O-ring on the hand-driving side, and SER1052034 Dynamo Hand Generator AC DC Demonstrator. We do not currently stock either of those machines, so if you are buying this belt you already own the machine.
Measure before you order. 510mm circumference, 80mm outer and 70mm inner diameter. If your machine is a different brand or an older model, take a tape to the old belt and check those numbers - a belt that is 20mm out will either slip or not go on.
Silicone rather than rubber: it stays flexible and does not perish sitting in a cupboard between uses, which matters for a part that spends most of its life as a spare.
