The Sensory Sprouts Textured Twistable Strings Set, supplier code EVLSTTS, is a set of 6 flexible, brightly coloured strings, each with a different texture to twist and bend.
Sensory Sprouts names this the Sensory Textured Twistable Strings Set of 6. Each flexible, brightly coloured string has a different texture, such as ridges, bumps, waves or spikes, for a tactile experience the brand links to fidgeting and sensory regulation. Sensory Sprouts says the strings help students manage restlessness, build fine motor skills and stay engaged during learning.
The brand lists sensory exploration, tactile stimulation, focus, calm and self-regulation, and fine motor development through twisting, pulling and bending. It describes the strings as flexible, durable, washable and easy to clean, for sensory corners, individual fidget kits or small group use.
Stretch strings, rings and strips from the same range are listed in sensory toys. For early childhood, primary and inclusion settings, the brand's named uses, look to classroom supplies, educational supplies and teacher resources.
