Pink cotton sand that squeezes, moulds and joins back together
Educational Colours Sensory Cotton Sand 700g Pink, supplier code CS700PK, is the brand's stretchable, mouldable cotton sand in pink, sold in a 700g size in a re-usable tub.
Educational Colours describes a unique sand-like texture that can be stretched, squeezed, pinched, pulled apart and moulded, then seamlessly re-joined while keeping an even resistance. That means a child can build a shape, break it apart and start again with the same handful. The brand notes that bright colours make Cotton Sand appealing for creating fun artwork.
Educational Colours says playing with Cotton Sand is a sensory experience that helps children develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, which makes it a good activity for the classroom and home. Large, re-usable tubs make it easy to pack away and bring out again for the next session.
Add sand moulds for shaping, or set out several colours side by side at a sensory table. The 700g size is also listed in blue, green, natural and orange. Explore sensory toys, early learning sensory resources, the Educational Colours range and classroom supplies.
