A larger 5kg quantity of natural coloured cotton sand
Educational Colours Sensory Cotton Sand 5kg Natural, supplier code CS5N, is the larger 5kg size of the brand's stretchable cotton sand, in a natural sand colour.
The texture is what sets it apart. Educational Colours explains that Cotton Sand can be stretched, squeezed, pinched, pulled apart and moulded, then seamlessly re-joined while it keeps an even resistance. The 5kg size gives a larger quantity of sand to build, break and reshape, and the brand notes that the bright colours make Cotton Sand appealing for creating fun artwork.
According to Educational Colours, playing with Cotton Sand is a sensory experience that helps children develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, which suits it to both classroom and home use. The brand describes large, re-usable tubs for easy storage, so the sand can be packed away and brought out again.
The same sand also comes in 2kg and 700g sizes within the Educational Colours range. See more sensory toys and classroom supplies for shared tables, plus the full educational supplies catalogue for schools and childcare.
