A Red Reel You Can Pick Out Across a Room
The Rexel 9806003 puts keys or an access card on a 60cm cord behind a red translucent face that is easy to spot on a busy floor.
The snap lock body is an oval shell held in a chrome surround, with a sprung gate at the top that closes over a pocket edge, a belt loop or a lanyard. A 25mm split ring sits on a short stub below the reel, and ACCO Australia publish the cord as extending up to 60cm. Red is one of the fashion colours Rexel offer in this shape.
Colour does the sorting: give the duty manager red and the wrong bunch is easy to spot before it leaves the floor. The gate opens and closes with one hand, so a jacket change does not mean unthreading keys, and the same reel carries an access card on a punched holder.
