Black 16mm Combs for Handbooks and Workbooks
Rexel code 45565 is the black 16mm plastic binding comb, and ACCO Australia publish its bind capacity as 120 sheets, a solid size for a staff handbook or a student workbook that keeps gaining pages.
A handbook or workbook can grow during the year, and a 16mm spine leaves space for inserted worksheets or a new policy section. It also suits an annual business plan with its budget. ACCO Australia list a 21 loop coil for this code, so the comb pairs with a machine punching 21 holes. Black reads as formal on a leathergrain back.
ACCO Australia state the combs reopen to insert or remove pages, which is exactly what a handbook needs when a policy changes. The lay flat design they describe helps students write in a workbook without holding it open with one hand.
Handbooks that outgrow this spine can move within 12mm to 25mm binding combs. Other diameters sit in plastic binding combs, a formal dark back comes from leathergrain binding covers, and punching machines are listed under comb binding machines.
