A Neck Strap for a USB Drive, Not a Drive Itself
The Rexel detachable lanyard is a strap for carrying small items, and the pack calls it ideal for USB drives, identification cards and keys.
This is worth being clear about, because the title says USB. The blister card we photographed reads Rexel, Lanyard, Detachable, and then Ideal for USB drives, identification cards and keys. It stores nothing and it holds no data. What is in the pack is one black strap with a plastic side release buckle partway along it and a thin cord loop on the end that a USB drive threads onto.
A drive on a neck strap is a drive that does not end up at the bottom of a bag, and the side release buckle means it can be handed to a presenter or plugged into a machine without the strap coming off over the head. The same cord loop takes a key.
For carrying a card rather than a drive, the flat and cord lanyards suit better. Compare them in lanyards and badge reels, look at holders in identification holders, and browse office technology and the Rexel range.
